Alt Hip Hop Rap artist FNB Benny has recently made their debut with the wavy Trap single “Cutter”; and it’s about as quintessential as Trap gets. The downtempo beats are soaked in reverb to give Cutter a hazy vibe while FNB Benny’s Rap bars keep a steady flow throughout. Even though there are traces of Old School Hip Hop, Cutter is a single firmly rooted in the New Wave of Trap.
As much as we appreciated the vibe behind Cutter, it was hard to feel any emotion behind the lyrical delivery or energy to hook you into the track. In parts, Cutter simply felt like it was simply going through the motions. But with that being said, if you’re looking for chilled-out wavy Trap, Cutter is still a solid track to add to your playlists.
