“Soft & Red” may at first glance seem like a questionable title for a track, but once you’re comforted by the fact that it’s a sweet romantically-inclined R&B Hip Hop track any questions or reservations you may have about up and coming artist Fieldy’s latest single.
The British singer, songwriter and producer may have cooked up a fairly simplistic beat which doesn’t seem to test many boundaries of the genre. Yet, this is just one of the reason’s why the slightly lo fi track is so accessible. You know exactly what you’re getting with Soft & Red, and that’s one melodically mesmerising smooth offering of contemporary urban aural alchemy. With his future releases I have no doubt that Fieldy will set himself apart, and lead the rest of his contemporaries audibly quaking.
