“Self-Sabotage” is the first EP from up and coming Electro Pop artist Felipe Siguara; at the age of seventeen, he’s already got a firm command of rhythm within his Latin-inspired soundscapes. While there are a few tell tale signs that tracks such as “Pick Up the Pace” are a DIY production this only adds to the raw emotive weight of the introspective lyrics. Whilst there’s a slight Trap sensibility to Pick Up the Pace, there are very few Trap artists with vocal style as tonally warm and soulful as Siquara’s. He may have a way to go in maturing his sound, yet the US-based artist is well on his way to making career-defining beats with virally infectious potential.
