Song 18 is the stand out track from the Fascinators latest album ‘Blam’. It took me about 2 minutes after I hit play on the track to buy the album. As a massive Riot Grrrl fan, Emily Snee’s vocals, won me over instantly, by the 2nd chorus, I was growling along to her anthemic angsty lyrics in which she let the full force of her wrath towards narcissists flow.
There’s so much substance and power behind the track that it makes bands such as In This Moment and Arch Enemy sound like amateurs in the female-fronted Metal arena. The London, UK based band are certainly taking the scene by storm with their Drag Metal aesthetic. Their style is loosely defined as Thrash Metal Cabaret, which is pretty exciting for all the Drag Race fans looking for something a bit heavier to sink their teeth into.
The Fascinators have promised that 2018 will be an exciting year for their music, as they prepare to tour with their latest EP ‘Hope’. Stay up to date with the band by following them on Facebook:
