Fans of the 1975, The Neighbourhood and Bastille are going to need to check out DENOVA’s latest Electro Pop hit “You’re Not Alone”. As you’d expect, there’s sticky-sweet melodies and lyrical hooks so sharp they’re almost scarring. With a radio-ready and commercial sound, it’s hard to imagine DENOVA are a band who will stay on the underground for long. The single which was released on September 28th has already received a fair amount of attention for the ecstatic vibe they drove into the punchily sweet alchemy of the track. Whilst no fault could be found with the track, I couldn’t help but feel that there was nothing all too distinctive delivered in their sound. Although I have a feeling that this one is going to go viral.
