Cynical Order – Meant to Be: Celestially Mesmeric Acoustic Pop

While the prelude to Cynical Order’s latest single “Meant to Be” may be fairly archetypal, once the single kicks into verse you’re treated to layers of potent expression which went into the orchestration of the track. Each note in Meant to Be adds to the celestially raw tonality of the acoustic Pop single which provides the perfect platform for the domineeringly arrestive vocals to be placed upon.

Meant to Be is fairly different from how we heard the up and coming band back in November with their single Deus Ex Machina with their darker EDM/Rock-driven sound. Yet Christin’s gently mesmeric and simultaneously strikingly distinctive vocals in the slow and transient ballad prove just how dynamic Cynical Order’s sound is. There’s literally no way of knowing what the powerhouse of rhythmically-gifted artists will put out next.
