Montana-based Indie artist Colby Dean released their debut self-titled EP on October 10th, 2019. Each of the singles unfolds as a nostalgically sweet offering of Americana Indie Folk. The best introduction to their sound is undoubtedly “Will I Go” which simultaneously unravels as an ethereally haunting and cathartically comforting single.
The Indie Folk single is sure to be of appeal to any fans of Nick Drake, Elliot Smith, and Leonard Cohen, as there is a touch of vintage tonality entwined with Colby Dean’s contemporary approach to the Alt-Country sound. Their naturally magnetic vocals and ability to spill plenty of imagery with their lyrics ensures that Will I Go is not a soundscape which is easily forgotten.
