Up and coming Hip Hop artist The Genius Child has recently released his own version of This is America with his latest single “Justify”; and if you liked Childish Gambino’s viral hit, you’re going to fall in love with the Genius Child for the very same reasons.
While there’s no disputing that the Genius Child’s single carries plenty of reminiscence to Childish Gambino’s through magnetic vocals and lyrical depth, there’s still plenty that sets them apart. It’s always refreshing to discover a Hip-Hop artist who doesn’t make tracks as a vanity project, instead they look to the real dark and gritty issues and create works of resonance from them.
