Chicago-based Alt Rock artist CASE has recently released their debut album “A Place We Belong”; and it’s not one which we’ll be forgetting in a hurry. While each of the tracks is a feat of progressive catharsis, there’s no better introduction to the up and coming artist’s emotive style than the soul-piercingly pensive single “Time Out”.
Any fans of Radiohead and the National are sure to appreciate the palpable pain which has been poured into this poised and polished track where the production ensures that the concordance will resonate with maximum potency.
Straight from the prelude, the restorative nature of Time Out washes over you as the soundscape throws in plenty of surprises including Jazz arrangements which offer plenty of nostalgic comfort and soul. It’s not often we can say that an Alt Rock artist has Soul, but we’re definitely here for it.
