I had the pleasure of checking out CAN’s latest track Misunderstood on International Women’s Day, her single proved to be the perfect soundtrack to my day. Into her energetic sound CAN injects a powerful highly resonant empowering hype. If there were more female artists like her around today, I have no doubt that the world would be a better place. With misunderstood The Chicago based Hip Hop Rap artist created a universally relevant anthem for any woman fighting against the constraints inflicted upon them by society. The lyrics serve to inspire women from all walks of life to overcome stereotypes and to appeal to every ambitious woman who has ever struggled with toxic relationships. After just one hit of this dope new track I have no doubt that you’ll be feeling the hype put out there by her diversely eclectic vocal range and ability to orchestrate a synergetic masterpiece of a Hip Hop Rap track. CAN may just be the superhero we’ve all been waiting for.
