Caleb Stewart is an up and coming fresh new artist from Nashville, Tennessee, whose genre-hopping sensibilities has seen him become one of the best underground Pop artists on the scene today. His musical career began with his venture drumming in a folk band, somehow, he’s made a seamless progression into becoming an iridescently talented Pop star. However I can’t help but feel a little disappointed that his folk influence didn’t carry through to his debut track In Too Deep which was released in 2017. The track is a high-vibe mix of electric hooks and synthy melodies, yet, I can’t help but be a little disappointed for the lack of originality behind the sound. In Too Deep sticks very safely to the confines of the contemporary synthesised Pop arena. The young artist has already come so far with his music, I’d like to hear that reflected within his debut album. The allure of the plasticity may be pretty magnetic, but, I just can’t help but think Caleb Stewart is capable of so much more.
