Alt Rock newcomers Bleach the Sky dropped their latest track “Burn Up” on August 10th and shared a raw reflection of our collective societal anxiety. But rather than feeding the fear, Bleach the Sky invited you to utilise the dread; just as you have with every obstacle you’ve overcome and oppression you’ve overpowered so far.
With such a stark aural mirror in a poised melodic track which allows the lyrics to really resonate, Burn Up isn’t your average Alt Rock hit. Instead of caustic chaos, they’ve created an emotively magnetic single which won’t be easily forgotten. The track kicks off with scuzzy reverb-laden bassline before shifting into a punchy progression of smooth rhythmic Rock which is sure to be of appeal to any fans of Velvet Revolver, and Buckcherry.
Bleach the Sky has proven with Burn Up that they’re not just a powerhouse of talent, but they’re exactly the kind of artists we should be listening to right now. You don’t want to listen to another song about someone getting their heart broken again, do you?
