“The Waves” is the latest single to be released from up and coming Indie Pop Rock artist Billy Wild. If anyone has the potential to ascend in the charts following on from the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, and The Kooks, it’s Billy Wild.
Wild’s ability to create an effortlessly anthemic Indie chorus in a progressive track which constantly allows the melodies to evolve around the velvety reverberant vocals definitely got our attention. The Waves resonated as one of the most accessible tracks which we’ve checked out this year.
Explaining the captivating nature of a single where every element seamlessly gels is a fairly impossible feat. It will probably be enough just to tell you that the Waves will make you feel fuzzy inside as you listen to the rich and warm tones of every deftly placed note. Go do it.
