Ben Stitt’s latest single Fade may just be the chill out track that you never knew you needed. Through his prodigally genius styling he’s created a soundscape which as intricate as it is cathartic, you’re given no choice but hang on every heavily reverbed vocal offering from the up and coming Alt Indie artist. Whilst not every word was entirely audible, that didn’t seem to matter after Ben Stitt poured so much emotion into the melody that even without the vocals this was one of the most emotive tracks I’ve checked out in a long time. The Los Angeles, US based artist has poured the heat from the LA skyline to create a rhythmic offering steeped in pensive emotion, yet which pertains to be ethereally uplifting at the same time.
If you’re a fan of Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Warpaint or London Grammar I absolutely insist that you check out Ben Stitt’s track Fade from his 2018 album ‘In the Dawn of My Days’. So, head on over to Soundcloud and drink in the fluid soundscapes from the deftly talented ambient artist.
