“Mooky Baylock” is the latest single from the experimentally enamouring breaking artist Bedon who has infused the hazy aural magnetism of 90s Alt Rock into his contemporary offering of mellow Indie Rock.
It’s fairly rare that I’ll fall unequivocally in love with a track in just the prelude, yet the nostalgia mixed with contemporary quintessence was all but impossible to resist. Mooky Baylock sits on the sunny side of Grunge as it oozes sun-soaked rhythms along with the captivating harmonic vibrancy of Bedon’s vocals. While some artists set out with the obvious intention of creating ‘feel good’ music, it’s evident that it all comes impossibly easy for Bedon.
Any fans of the Pixies, Weezer, Pearl Jam and the Smashing Pumpkins will undoubtedly want to hear how Bedon has reinvented the sound which the icons of the genre established 20 years ago.
