Lo Fi Experimental Indie Pop always seems to have a charismatic charm that isn’t found in any other style of production. In many ways, it brings you closer to the raw essence of the vision that the artist had when they first picked up an instrument or pen to write the lyrics. And that is exactly what you get from Atlas West’s instrumental release “Looking At My Heart”. The track from the Houston-based artist may only have been short and sweet. But still through the quaintness of the keyboard melody and the use of archaic effect the single transports you to your very own frantic neo-noir film.
You can check out the standout track from Atlas West for yourselves by heading over to Bandcamp now, you can also check out the rest of his album “Music Songs” to fully appreciate the ingenuity of his soundscapes.
