While many Pop artists may put themselves in the Alt Pop category, they may want to rethink their branding after checking out the new captivating prodigal release from Anzac Park.
The distinction which reverberates around up and coming Alternative artist Anzac Park’s sound hits you before the prelude runs through. And by the time you reach the ominously orchestrated verses in their standout single “Lies” from their debut EP “Technicolor”, you’ll realise that it’s a soundscape which will linger in between your synapses for quite some time.
If there was ever a male equivalent of Amanda Palmer (Dresden Dolls), that accolade would fall onto Anzac Park. That’s not a comparison which was easy for me to make. However, the strikingly pensive deep chords which spill intense energy into the mix along with the un-archetypal vocals come together as a work of aural alchemy.
You can check out Lies along with the rest of the EP from Anzac Park by heading over to Spotify now.
