Up and coming Alt Indie artist Anadi made their debut with their first single “Bloom” in July 2019, and with it, they orchestrated a mesmeric soundscape which sits in the same league as Radiohead and Pink Floyd when it comes to arrestive textures and mesmeric tonalities.
Around the fingerpicked guitar notes you’ll hear the intricate electronic breakbeats constantly evolving and building momentum throughout the mix. There’s also plenty of influence from Eastern rhythms fed into Bloom; there really is no overstating how transfixing this single becomes. With an extended duration of 6-minutes, there’s plenty of rooms for seamless aural contortions, yet each and every one of them is totally unpredictable. So, if you’re wondering if it’s worth hitting play on a 6-minute-long track, the answer is irrefutably yes. If any debut track has the potential to give you chills, it’s Bloom.
