After All My Friends Hate Me appeared on our radar with their endearingly sweet feat of Alt Rock “I Need a Life” it was hard not to join in the anticipation for their upcoming album “Metal Butterflies” which finally dropped on November 29th.
The standout single “Stay Up” definitely disappoint. The accordantly riotous soundscape thankfully didn’t deviate from what we came to love about their viscerally transfixing sound. But Stay Up did prove that they’ve got plenty more eclectically charming tricks up their sleeves.
Euphorically fuzzy instrumentals propel plenty of momentum into the energetic single which is easily dominated by the boundlessly animated vocals. It’s the kind of track you hear and instantly decide that you want *all* the merch. All My Friends Hate Me may just be the most loveable band breaking right now.
You can check out Stay Up along with the debut album from All My Friends Hate Me via Spotify.
