Well, you don’t see many Hip Hop artists rapping about existentialism and spirituality in modern day life, do you? Even John Paul Satre himself would have been down with this sensational mix.
If you like your Hip Hop dark and heavy I really couldn’t recommend Aaron Avis as an artist enough. His latest single from his 2018 album Job is one of those tracks which reminds you how much passion and momentum can be carried within the Rap genre. With beats and bars harsh enough to make Eminem look like a weak contender, Aaron almost definitely has what it takes to make it. Contained within the lyricism is pure poetry riddled with genius intellect which proves that Aaron is as verbose as he is creatively magnificent.
His experimental and alternative approach to Hip Hop fuses a Prog Rock Guitar-Driven chaos into his soundscape in a way I’ve never heard before. Any fans of Rockyoot, Nature’s Child, Rage Against the Machine and Cypress Hill will be in absolute heaven with this track.
