Maia Zakay storms in with frustrated but elegant new release ”2 Nice”

Maia Zakay is an American singer, songwriter, model and actress. She was born in London but left the UK for the bright lights of Hollywood when she was 7 years old.

She is back with her new song called ”2 Nice” and this young future superstar delivers with an outstanding vocal performance off her album ”Speak up”.

”2 Nice” is all about being messed around and finding that you are way too soft with the particular love interest. You are a kind person inside and feel like they are taking you for a ride. Maia shows her frustration and I love how to she breaks everything down in this new release. Her vocals are crystal clear and the tone is fantastic.

Maia Zakay is going to be a huge star as she is immensely talented and seems to have the desire needed to fully reach the top. She has also written hooks for artists such as Cardi B and Beyonce so you know she has the skill-set required.

”2 Nice” from Maia Zakay is a quality R&B-Pop song that perfectly shows that this young artist is not going to be messed around any longer. She is rising fast to the top so keep an eye out for this fantastic talent.

Aedie’s splendid lo-fi summer track ”Drive-In” is exactly what we needed

Aedie is an impressive indie musician from Los Angeles in the USA. He soothes our worries away with his new track called ”Drive-In”.

This young performer loves to surf, create music and enjoy life. Just the way that we should be living. From going on adventures on the mountains of Colorado, to the riding the glorious waves of Rhode Island, Aedie makes laid-back music for us to enjoy. We are all running to or from something and this is the anti-body of stress. I feel so mellow while listening to this song and I imagine swimming in the sea in a crystal clear ocean with a special soul.

”Drive-In” is a summer-soaked road trip song that is perfect for that sparkling sunset with your lover close by. The track is all about chilling out and forgetting your worries. The energy is one of peace and how things will happen when they are supposed to and not to force things.

LA’s Aedie has such a soulful vibe and he shows us how life should be. Cruising around with his girlfriend and going on adventures, far way from the rat-race and doing things that makes them happy. ”Drive-In” is a beautiful song that is so welcome in the cage of 2020.

Gentry is a new singer-songwriter and he is here with a sultry R&B track to get you in the mood. This debut song is called ”Work Of Art” and it is steamy to say the least.

”Work Of Art” is all about the appreciate of a lovers body and knowing that you two can go far together. You love what you see and just want to be with this person. You just want to keep things simple and make sure that everything is natural.

Gentry has such a smooth style and he definitely knows how to market himself. He has been smart by building up his name for a while via TikTok, Instagram and is now going for it on streaming websites for this new song. I like his voice and the beat is a big winner. ”Work Of Art” is a sultry R&B song that is perfect for those nights where you are with your date and just want to slow dance.

His pop rock sounds gather inspiration from all genres and decades, and his lyrics invite us into his deeply personal stories and life lessons. Music saved Ricky’s life on multiple occasions and his is so inspired while performing as he knows that the story could be way different.

”White Lies” by Ricky Allson is a powerful song and the message is so true. Little lies can be okay for a while but then after building up and up, they can come crashing down on you at a thunderous level that you won’t enjoy.

The New York artist brings all the heat with this new single and you can feel the strength in his delivery on ”White Lies”. Ricky Allson is a quality artist with a massive future as he looks to build on the momentum he has already been building up.

Io/One send out warrior message with ”Ta qifsha nonen”

Io/One are a new and mysterious group that are little on information but plentiful on creating a movie soundtrack. ”Ta qifsha nonen” from Io/One is one of the most fascinating entries of the year.

A brooding sound emanates from the shadows and my soul feels like I’m hearing a new sound that excites and terrifies me at the same time. This is a cinematic visual track and I feel like a music video must be in the offerings very soon. There is a warriors tone here from a waterfall jungle far, far away.

This is the 7th song off ”Chimère” from Io/One and the beat is so menacing here that it makes me a bit paranoid. The missile sounds and battle chants in the background simmer nicely in the pot to cook us up a real song of interest. I have never heard a track like this in my life. 2020 flips the axis again with this exciting ”Ta qifsha nonen” from Io/One.

Folk infused beauty with ”Shadow & Form” from Burke & Krowe

Burke & Krowe are a New York based rock band that fuses jazz and folk influences to very satisfying results that tingle our fingers. They are clearly masters at what they do and the whole musical creation is quite wonderful. There is a very mellow style and everything in this song has been put together perfectly.

”Shadow & Form” is all about staying consistent in life and having those who believe in us to be there. This is the only way to stay sane in life during these gloomy times. Coming to age must be on a whole new level in NYC and the feel never gets too gloomy but always honest. I feel refreshed after listening to this indie rock song.

Riley Burke, Brendan Krovatin, Nick Loud, Michael Coiro and Adam Schorr all deserve credit here as they make a tight band with their own chilled vibe that must be perfect with an intimate crowd.

LA alt-pop artist Livi Dillon grabs her soul back with fantastic ”Who Gave You the Right”

You meet someone and you like them so much and things are good for a while. Then you dig deeper and see so much more. You then realize that are you are in fact with a real dead soul. Someone that is manipulative and they aren’t good for you at all. This changes you and need to find yourself again. A life-long lesson is learnt and you slowly start to dig out of the deep hole and start to see the light again.

Singer, producer and kick-ass artist. This is Livi Dillon. She is here with the brilliantly made ”Who Gave You the Right”. This song is for anyone that has been in a tough relationship with a cold person that showed their true colors to you and you did something about it. This is a top song and Livi is going from strength to strength in her career with consistently good releases for her fans.

Livi Dillon has a new fan right here and I like her music style. Her music is different and she is so honest with her lyrics that I relate to on ”Who Gave You the Right”. I’m glad that she got out of this unhealthy relationship and is now stronger after realizing it was all wrong for her soul.

OvaDos brings the heat with fiery Hip Hop single ”Homicide”

OvaDos leaves it all on the line with the brand new single called ”Homicide”. This is all about going for it and not stopping for anything or anybody. People that are holding you back are sadly going to have to understand. This is no time to be distracted as OvaDos is on a mission to head straight to the top of the Hip Hop game.

Blowing up is the only things on OvaDos’s mind. They are willing to smash through any barrier and we shouldn’t sleep on this producer-rapper. Big things are expected in 2020 and moving forward.

The lyrical ability is on full show here and I enjoy the smooth flow and no-nonsense approach. The beat is simple but effective and I feel like OvaDos is building up slowly and getting everything prepared to make it big.

”Homicide” is a very underrated track but perhaps not for long.

“Rum” by Soulful Sara aka Sara Maatouk might be the most delicious music video of 2020

Phoenix singer-songwriter Soulful Sara aka Sara Maatouk has such a subtle voice that flies into your ears like a pleasant dream of winning a million dollars. She likes rum too. This is the story about why this is the best drink to consume into your thirsty throat without having a mega sore head the next day. Responsibly of course.

”Rum” is the brand new single from this talented singer who dazzles here as she blends in smooth jazz with a bluesy ice style added for good measure. I feel relaxed and the visuals are fantastic. Sara Maatouk is in the local bar and tells us why she doesn’t enjoy other drinks. She is a woman of the people and always makes time for the locals. I feel like if Sara was a super famous star she would still be a local and head there to see friends and have a game of pool.

Shot stunningly by the ultra-talented Dana Bruhn, this is a wonderful music video that is enjoyable from start to finish. She captures Sara’s personality like a real professional that knows her quite well.

Canadian Psychedelic rockers The Space Wizards beam through with ”On the Loose”

There’s a breath-taking start and the drummer is in full flow. There is no stopping him on this track and he fires through with unlimited energy. From there it’s a raw vocal and guitar lesson on how to entertain the crowd. One of Canada’s best are here and they are born to entertain.

The Space Wizards are a 3 piece outfit from the mean streets of Montreal that have been jamming together since 2017. They impress mightily with ”On The Loose”. This is good old fashioned rock and roll that is designed to make us dance. The band must be going nuts without live gigs as they seem like a proper act. Not concerned with fame, these guys just want to do what good bands do- rock out hard on stage and let it all hang out. That is exactly what the song is about. Keeping things real and letting bygones be bygones with small things. Life is too short for unnecessary issues. This single is taken off their successful ”Adding Color” album from 2019 with this song being one of their last single releases as new music is surely on the way in 2020.
