There really are no words to poignantly express how refreshing the lyricism to JASHAR’s latest track 100 years is. You won’t find many Hip Hop Rap tracks with “I don’t do this for the money or the show” in the lyrics. The Detroit-based up and coming artist’s approach to Rap is prodigally inspired by influences from other urban artists, alongside his drive to create something pioneeringly accessible. The unique style of the singer and producer is sure to set him apart from the rest of the emerging artists out there. There’s no wondering why he’s already got himself support slots for Def Jam and has received over 50,000 streams in 2018 alone. This is just the beginning for the charismatically blessed artist with his mid-tempo beats pack a viscerally fluid punch which are matched by the relentless rhythm which drives the vocal bars.
